A massive congratulations to our Maigh Cuilinn U15 team, who triumphed in the U15 A Shield Final in Lough George on Tuesday night! They secured the title with an outstanding performance from start to finish, winning on a scoreline of Maigh Cuilinn 3-13 to Salthill Knocknacarra 1-9.
This decisive victory marked the fifth encounter between these two competitive teams this year, in what has been a season with its fair share of drama. All previous games between Maigh Cuilinn and Salthill-Knocknacarra were played in great spirit and notably displayed extremely high levels of skill from both sets of teams.
The Shield Final was no exception, played once again with great sportsmanship. On this occasion, Maigh Cuilinn ultimately came out on top, showcasing a dominant display.
Well done to all the players and their dedicated coaches on what has truly been a fantastic season, culminating in a brilliant finish with this Shield victory!
