Maigh Cuilinn GAA Launches All-Stars Programme

Maigh Cuilinn GAA is thrilled to announce the successful launch of its “Football for All All-Stars” programme, specifically designed for children with additional needs. The inaugural session, held last Saturday, was a resounding success, bringing immense joy to all the participating children.

This special initiative aligns perfectly with the GAA’s overarching commitment to inclusion and diversity, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to participate in Gaelic Games and experience a sense of belonging within their local club. The GAA’s “All Stars Inclusive Clubs Programme” aims to provide a welcoming environment for all, regardless of age, ability, or background.

The main objective of the All-Stars programme is to include children who might not typically take part in a standard team game, assisting them with fundamental ball skills, promoting exercise, and, most importantly, fostering fun and enjoyment in a safe environment. It also plays a vital role in promoting the ethos of inclusion within the wider community and the club itself.

“A great day was had by all the children,” a club spokesperson noted, highlighting the immediate positive impact of the programme.

Maigh Cuilinn GAA is proud to offer this inclusive pathway to Gaelic Games. If you would like your child to get involved and experience the fun and camaraderie of the All-Stars programme, please get in touch with Crystal on 087 9419274.

This programme embodies the GAA’s belief that “Where we all belong,” by making Gaelic Games accessible and enjoyable for every member of our community.
