Paul Clancy Steps Down as Chairman After Historic Era

Following the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held this evening, Paul Clancy has stepped down as Club Chairman after a remarkable four-year tenure. During his time at the helm, Paul oversaw a historic era for our club, marked by unprecedented achievements on both the local and provincial stages.

The pinnacle of Paul’s tenure was undoubtedly the club’s crowning as Senior County Champions for the first time in 2020. This historic triumph was followed by an even more remarkable feat in 2022 when the team claimed the County and Connacht Senior Championship titles, along with the Minor County Championship. These remarkable achievements stand as a testament to Paul’s leadership, vision, and unwavering dedication to the club.

Beyond these major victories, Paul Clancy oversaw continuous improvement across all aspects of the club, both on and off the field. His tireless efforts and commitment to progress have laid a strong foundation for the club’s future success.

At the AGM, the following officers were elected for 2024:

Runaí: Mairéad Ní Ceallaigh
Cisteoir: Noel Daly
